Kori and Whitney had their Track Meet this week. They did really well. Walker liked watching them race. We learned that Kori has a future in gunny sack racing. Actually, we haven't gotten the final reports but Kori won the high jump, the distance throw, the gunny sack race and placed in the standing long jump. She also took 3rd in the 800 out of all the 4th, 5th, 6th grade girls combined finishing behind two 6th graders. Whitney won the 50 yard dash and the three legged race. She placed in the standing long jump as well. Their class also won the tug of war. When Kevin asked her what she had won, she replied,"This running thing." Spoken like a true dancer.
