Wow! What a sight!

We had the privilege of witnessing Todd Hale do a personal fly over for his family this weekend. I hurried and grabbed my camera to see if I could get any decent pictures of it. It was so cool. Very fun. This is a F16 I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If you look close you will see Uncle Lo Lo and Aunt Linda watching it fly over their house. Pretty cool!

Trip up to Little Cottonwood

This was actually in June. We took the 4-wheelers up to Little Cottonwood with Kori, Whitney, Walker and our other daughter Montie Peterson. Mom and Dad Morrison followed us up in their Van. We roasted hotdogs and marshmallows and then the kids tried catching crawdads in the creek. Walker was really impatient. We had a wonderful time. It's so nice to live here. We really are spoiled.

Enjoying the weekend and new baby

First we have Whitney and Walker snuggling our new baby. He's so tiny. We need to put a bell or something around his neck. He's been sat on, stepped on, tripped over. It's amazing he doesn't have internal injuries. But we love him. He is so snuggly. And his bark is hilarious. It doesn't sound like a dog.
Second pic is of Walker chilling out enjoying the afternoon. Isn't he the cutest?

Wexie Woo! We love you!!!

We had Alexi Ruffell, Kelby's best friend in the whole world come and stay with us over the 24th. Kelby was in 7th Heaven. These two have been soul mates since they met over ten years ago. Lexi was two when they first met. She used to call Kelby "Toby" because she couldn't say her K's and her L's. The pose they are doing is their famous pose that they do for every picture taken. We sure had a great time with her. Whitney is hoping to have Bria, Lexi's little sister come next time. We love her too! It was hard for Kelby to let her go. But it was a great weekend.

Kylee's Bull Ride

That's right I, Kylee Morrison, rode a bull!!! Yes it was only a yearling but indeed a bull. My mom of course was freaking out and in tears and I feel bad I had her to that point, but it was a BLAST! It was the night of Gymkhana(sp?) and there were 12 kids ridingand I was the only girl, although that didn't stop me. Well anyway I was back in the shoots getting ready with Colton Bedke there giving me a quick tutorial of what to do and not to do. I can't remember everyone who was around me getting me on the bull but I do remember asking what to do if I stayed on for 8 seconds... The response I got was you won't have to worry about that. Well, I proved them all wrong! I did stay on for the whole whopping 8 seconds and ended up finishing in 2nd:) but I really wanted to get first so I could have the belt buckle. Oh well, I'm not complaining. It was definitely the ride of my life and I would so do it again if I had the chance. Can I say adrenaline rush... I also have some nice little marks on my leg. I hope they scar:D The Bull also ripped open my jeans with his horn. It was amazing. Well my prize for second ended up being a cheesburger and fries from the cook shack... not as cool as the belt buckle I might add but I have bragging rights thats for sure. Well I'm all alive and well... Love you all, Ky

Meet Brigham

We decided it was time for a new dog, so we searched on the internet and we found him in the ksl classifieds. This week I flew home from Denver into the Salt Lake Airport and I went and picked him up on my way home. The kids had no idea so they were pretty excited. If you are wondering where we got the name......Craig taught me that a name should always have meaning. Well, I picked the puppy up on Pioneer Day, July 24th, in the Salt Lake Valley, so I thought it appropriate to name him Brigham.
I was looking for a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, and Brigham is a mix between a yorkie, and the King Charles. He is now about 2 lbs and probably won't get much bigger. Probably 4 lbs as an adult. He's very lovable and likes to cuddle. He's just like having a new baby in the house however.
I'm looking forward to this fall when I can start training him to hunt pheasants.

US OPEN - Torrey Pines

A dream come true. We attended the practice round on Wednesday
and this is where we were able to take pictures, then we attended
Thursday and Friday also. Weather was perfect, and we had
a great time.

We stayed at Coronado Island a couple of nights. Not at this
resort, but near it. We did have an incredible breakfast
here though.

We visited Sea World while we were there. I was pleasantly
surprised and had a great time
