Idaho Falls

I'm dreaming of a white Easter. Here is the scene outside our hotel room this morning as we get ready for more dancing.

After school snack

Went over to mom and dad's this afternoon and sitting on the counter was some chocolate cookies. Brought me back to my childhood days (the last time I think I had those cookies) when we would come home from school and mom would have a note (with a list of chores) and a snack. I remember having the chocolate cookies often. We has a green swivel chair that we would spin in, I remember spinning so much that I threw up chocolate cookies.
It was fun thinking of those memories today as I scarfed down 3 cookies in a matter of Seconds. Thanks mom, love ya.

Random Memories

As I was cleaning my office this morning, I had a random memory pop into my head. Then shortly after I had a thought that I should write down and capture these memories. Then I thought I should blog them. So that is what I'm going to do. Whenever I have a random memory pop into my head I will capture it on my blog, so the memory won't be lost and it will be fun for family to remember. It should be easier now that I can blog from my iphone. So if you see a post titled "random memory" you will know why.

Ok.....now for the random memory, and it's very random and I don't know what made me think of it. Whenever I see an Archie Comic I always think about a trip to Boise to stay with Aunt Sherie. It was just Kerry and I, and I think I was very young. We took a bus home and I think it was before Christmas. I remember there being a lot of snow, so that must have been the reason we took the bus home. I remember having an Archie Comic Book to read on the way home. I have always loved Archie Comics since then. I don't remember much else about the trip except being on a Grey Hound with Kerry and Archie.

I always enjoyed our trips to Aunt Sherie's house to play with my cousins. Lots of good memories of us piling into the car or truck and heading to Boise. I remember having the truck with the camper shell and a kerosene heater in the winter time.
